REPLACING YOUR RZR 900 MOTOR/GEARBOX
1. Pry off center hub cap off of both rear wheels.
2. Remove the nut and washer from one of the rear wheels. To remove the nut, hold the lock nut on rear wheel as you turn the lock nut on the other rear wheel. Remove the tire from the axle.
3. Remove the other rear wheel by pulling the wheel and axle from the unit. (You do not need to remove the nut)
4.Remove the seat screws on both seats. Remove seats.
5. Remove the screw from under each seat (top arrows). Remove the screw on the floor in front of each seat (lower arrows).
6. Stand the car on its front end. By removing the 4 screws in the two red supports under the unit can be removed. The red supports may have fallen off do to gravity.
7. Remove the 3 screws from the side that you want to remove the motor/gearbox.
8. Remove the 4 screws as shown to have the lower pan swing down.

10. Push the black tab to drop the motor spacer.
11. Pull motor/gearbox out as far as you can, then pry rest of gearbox from unit body.
12. Remove the motor wires and attach to new motor/gearbox.
13. Push gearbox down back into the hole in the unit.
14. Test the toy in low and high to make sure the gear is moving in the correct direction. If the gears are moving in the wrong direction, switch the 2 motor wires. Once you are sure the gears are moving the correct direction, replace the 3 screws to hold the motor/gearbox in place.
15. Tip up the pan and replace the 4 screws.
16. Place the red supports under the toy aand replace the screws in the front of the toy.
17. Snap in the motor spacer into the bottom of the unit.
18. Insert the axle that has the wheel. Turn wheel until the wheel fits into the gearbox. Then make sure the axle is pushed tight against the center of the wheel.
19. Place the other wheel onto axle. Place washer, then tighten nut onto axle. Don’t forget to hold the other side nut in place to tighten.
20. Snap on hub caps to both wheels.
21. Screw in seats
