Hasp Repair for Ground Force, Ground Loader, Case Magnum and Dual force Tractors
.- You will received a replacement hasp,, out and bolt. Tools needed: plyers, Phillips screwdriver and flat screwdriver.
.- First remove the broken hasp from body. Remove the screw. If you cannot see the screw head, slide the hasp back and forth until the screw head is visible.
.- Remove the broken hasp from hood. Take a flat head screwdriver and pry the flat washer (retainer) from the rivet. The retainer will more than likely break. Remove the rivet.
.- Place new hasp on hood and insert the bolt as shown.
.- Attach nut to bolt. Lightly tighten to bolt. Do NOT over tighten the bolt, it will make the hood difficult for the hinge to open and close.
.- Insert the bottom side tabs into the sleeves on the unit.
.- Slide the top part of the hasp until you line up the hole with the screw hole. Reinstall screw. Close and lock hood. Finished.
