GATOR ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

The following procedure explains the recommended method of removing and replacing the accelerator pedal assembly including the accelerator switch on your Gator electric toy.

WARNING: Disconnect the battery prior to beginning this procedure.

1.- Remove the accelerator pedal assembly. Use a flat blade screwdriver to pop the rear edge of the pedal plate up, freeing the rear edge mounting tabs from the toy.

2.- Pull the forward edge on the pedal plate out from under the wire harness guard. Pull the pedal away from the toy.

3.- Disconnect (3) wires from the underside of the accelerator switch. Discard the accelerator pedal assembly.

4.- Connect wires to (3) terminals on the underside of the accelerator switch:

Red wire- forward terminal

White wire – center terminal

Blue wire – rear terminal

Be sure connectors are fully seated

5.- Insert the forward edge of the pedal plate under the wire harness guard. Push down on the rear edge to snap the pedal plate tabs back into the toy floorboard.

6.- Connect the battery. Test the vehicle. If the vehicle does not operate, check all electrical connections and retest.
