The following procedure explains the recommended method of removing and replacing the pedal assembly on your excavator pedal toy.

Turn the toy on the side with the pedal to be changed pointing down.

1. Using a light hammer, tap the pedal until it falls lose from the toy. Remove and discard the old pedal.
2. There are (3) pieces to the new pedal: a 9 mm washed, the yellow trim insert and the pedal.
3. Assemble the pedal. Be sure the 9mm washer is seated in the yellow trim insert.
4. Slide the new pedal onto the pedal shaft and gently tap it until it looks in place. Be sure the pedal is all the way onto the shaft.
5. Turn the toy over and repeat the procedure on the opposite pedal if required.
6. Set the toy upright and test.
