Repair Instructions
  1. Remove the single screw on the back of the driver’s seat base. Pull the seat belt out of your way.
  2. Lift the seat base up. Remove the two screws. Lift the seat up and pull forward the dislodge the back tabs of the seat.
  3. Gently pull the accelerator switch off the circuit board connector.
  4. Turn unit on its side. Pry the wire cover off.
  5. Pull the single sheath accelerator wire out. This is the wire you already disconnected from under the seat.
  6. Gently pry the retainer off to release the wire grouping.
  7. Pry up the accelerator pedal from the floor board.
  8. Remove the wires and pull the accelerator switch and attached sheathed wire out of toy.
  9. Pry up the bottom of the pedal to remove from the pedal base. Pull end up to remove the front tab. Remove.
  10. Thread the new accelerator wire through the pedal base and snap in the pedal by inserting the tab in the front first then snapping to the base.
  11. Thread the accelerator wire through the hole. Snap in the pedal base into the floor board by inserting the top tabs in first.
  12. Turn the toy on its side. Take the accelerator wire and follow the main wire harness passed the gear shift and thread through the hole.
  13. Attach wire harness cover. Gather the wires together and place between the two tabs on the cover. Insert the 2 rear tabs into the toy. Bring the cover toward the front making sure the wires are inside the compartment and snap cover onto toy.
  14. Place the wires within the plastic C clamp and insert the plastic peg. Push the retainer onto the peg with the provided push tool.
  15. Set the unit on its wheels. Look under the seat compartment for the loose accelerator wire that you pushed through the hole. Attach the accelerator connector to the circuit board.
  16. Place your seat assembly onto the unit by inserting the rear tabs in the slits and push towards the back of the unit. Insert the 2 screws.
  17. Lower the seat and insert screw.
